We believe that the traditional business model of the music industry is broken; the big labels make lots of money while the studios and artists struggle to keep their heads above water.
The problem is that while the artists have the talent, they don't have the money to record their music, which is what they need in order to make money so that they can record their music...catch 22.
In theory the concept of the Labels is a good one; they help the artist make a record in return for a slice of the profits, however in practice the slice they take is huge and leaves little for the artist.
At Revolution Recording, we believe we have a solution: cut out the middle man. We offer our music production services with an optional 'advance' to be recouped against the record sales.
This means that as an artist you can afford to make your recording and not have to pay the full fee until you have sold the records!
In addition, unlike the Labels, we let you choose the terms of the agreement, so by taking less of an advance, you can keep a greater share of the profits.
